I was born in Milan, Italy. After a degree in developmental psychology at the University of Padova, Italy, I moved to Berlin. There, in 2003, I started to turn my passion for photography into my main profession, beginning to work as a freelance photographer for different press agencies in the capital. In 2005 I decided to consolidate my knowledge of photography and began studying at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie. I graduated in 2008 under the direction of Prof. Ute Mahler with the work 9:30. It was then nominated for the Fotobuch Dummy Award at the Kassel Photobook Festival. Since 2010 I have been a freelance collaborator for the national newspaper TAZ – die Tageszeitung.
